Review: TheFACEShop Arsainte Eco Therapy Extreme-Moisture Daily Moisturizer

Happy Holidays to all!

I've been out of blogging for a while due to my Skyrim spree. But as promised, here is the review from probably my most favorite Korean product I've ever used. I could gradually replace all of my skin care stuff for cheap local/drugstore equivalents, but this one will never be replaced as long as it works so well for me. Presenting TheFACEShop's Arsainte Eco Therapy Extreme-Moisture Daily Moisturizer.

Availability and Price: I bought this from the nearest TheFACEShop branch for less than 800 php. You might think that because there are a lot of TheFACEShop stores scattered in malls this would be an easy find, but on the contrary, this product is somewhat rare.

Packaging: The product comes in a glass bottle capped with a pump that works so well, you can dispense little by little. The box contains the ingredient and instructions as well. Overall, it's a simple yet highly effective.

Texture and Scent: I can't quite put a finger on it's "clean" smell, other than it is not so strong and exudes that fresh feeling. The texture is very very light, which makes it quite easy to spread and quick to be absorbed. Looks like a heavy serum at first, but it feels like gel-type moisturizers when on the skin. Yes, this product is quite interesting!

Ingredients (from cosdna.com): Some users of makeupalley.com compared this product to the highly rated Ecovert Daily Moisturizer (ingredients here), but upon inspection of the ingredient lists, we can see that Arsainte Daily Moisturizer is the less superior version of Ecovert as it has potentially comedogenic ingredients (isopropyl isostrearate) as a major ingredient. I've been using this for a month, and I've had no breakouts from this moisturizer though. If you have acne-prone skin, be sure to test patch first or use samples prior to full purchases.

Other ingredients to note are grapefruit fruit extract (phototoxic so wear sunscreen) and lavender flower extract (something to avoid when pregnant during the first trimester unless your doctor is okay with it).

Finish: The main advantage to this product is the finish. It moisturizes so well and will leave the skin soft and smooth without any oily feeling as this product is quickly absorbed in just a few minutes. Since there is no greasy film left and the skin is soft and smooth, Arsainte Eco Therapy Extreme-Moisture Daily Moisturizer may be used prior to sunscreen and/or BB cream without hassle.

Rating: Although somewhat hard to find, this moisturizer is cheap, simple, and does the job really well. The ingredients are good enough, though those with acne-prone skin or into early pregnancy might have a few ingredients to be mindful of. The finish is quite satisfactory, especially for those who use makeup.
